Odysseus — Sea Adventure
Into the wind, into adventure! This unforgettable day aboard our fast, luxurious yacht, equipped for your comfort, is sure to reveal plenty of exciting discoveries.
Our adventure begins in the colourful port of Larnaca, where we’ll see the wreck of the Zenobia – the “Titanic” of the Mediterranean. Masks and snorkels will be provided on board. We’ll then approach the Red Rocks, home to ospreys. We’ll pass the intriguing caves of Cape Pyla, where we may spot dolphins. Out at sea we’ll see a fish farm where locals raise sea bream, or “tsipoura”.
Gliding across the crystal-clear sea, we’ll sail along the stunning sandy beaches of Ayia Napa. We’ll reach a complex of caves once used by pirates in bygone days, which later came to be known as – the “Pirate Caves”. We’ll pass under the Bridge of Lovers. We’ll take a look at the “Palace Caves”, formed by stalactites and stalagmites merging into one another. We’ll reach the island’s south-easternmost point, Cape Greco. Then, leaving the cape behind, we’ll anchor in one of the most beautiful bays, where you can swim, snorkel, feed the fish and have lunch right on board. Enjoy delicious traditional mezze and home-cooked dishes.
And in search of more adventure, we’ll head to Ayia Anargyroi, where you’ll have the chance to test yourself with a cliff jump. Finally, we’ll sail through Protaras Bay, from where we’ll see and learn plenty about the “ghost town” of Famagusta. Don’t miss this unique chance to discover the marine nature of Cyprus.
