Sunset Cruise and Dancing Fountains Show

You are in for a cruise departing from the tranquil harbour of Protaras. Enjoy the cool evening air, pleasant music, a gentle sea breeze and an unforgettable Mediterranean sunset.

On board our yacht, you will be offered champagne, canapés and fresh fruit. You will be able to see the “ghost town” of Famagusta and the majestic Cape Greco, and swim in the warm waters of the Mediterranean.

We will go ashore at Fig Tree Bay, and from there head to a truly unique dancing fountains show, where you can watch a dance of water and light set to classical and contemporary music.

EXCURSION DURATION: from 18:30 to 23:00.

INTERESTING FACT: Wine berry, fig tree, common fig — all names for the same fruit. The fig has a very ancient history: some records suggest people have cultivated it for more than five thousand years. It was loved and grown by the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, Babylonians and Romans. In Ancient Rome, it was believed that figs gave a person strength and courage. In Ancient India, the fig tree — a sacred tree — was the object of prayers and requests, and offerings were made beside it. The fig tree is mentioned several times in the Bible; according to one legend, it grew in the Garden of Eden and was in fact the “forbidden fruit”!
